Each week, raids get new challenges for you to complete, like the King’s Fall raid Under Construction challenge in Destiny 2. This specific challenge is for the Daughters of Oryx encounter. However, it isn’t as simple as just completing the raid. So far, players have been a bit confused as to how they are supposed to actually complete this challenge. Most players assumed they could not stand on the same plate more than once during the challenge, which is absolutely not true. Keep reading to learn how to complete Under Construction in Destiny 2‘s King’s Fall raid.
Destiny 2: How to Complete Under Construction
Under Construction was released with the Day One edition of King’s Fall, but around this time, players assumed they were only able to stand on each plate once during the contraction phase. As much as that would make sense, it’s not the case. The challenge actually only requires that you don’t allow the platforms to disappear. If that happens, another member of your fireteam will have to take over for you and stand in your place.
For example, if two players stood on the R1 and L2 plates throughout the construction phase and one of them were to step off of their plate before the runner reaches the top font construction, you would get a message stating “The platform fades from existence.” Thus, making this scenario a failure. Though, most of the time this shouldn’t be too much of a challenge. The only time you can die on a platform is if the Daughters of Oryx are shooting at you.
If you are doing the Destiny 2 Under Construction challenge on Master difficulty, it will be a bit different. A knight will spawn in on a certain plate, showing where the building will begin. However, on master difficulty, these knights will be replaced with Anti-Barrier Knights, making them quite a bit more difficult to take down. In addition to Knights being tougher, Acolytes will also have Void shields now. Though, aside from tougher enemies being in the challenge, everything else still stays the same.
