Completing Vex Incursion Zones in Destiny 2 is an excellent way to get loads of Exotic gear in-game. Additionally, you can get Strand Meditations and Terminal Overload Keys. Not only is it a constant, meaning you can always farm it for Exotic Armor. It can pose quite a challenge, even for experienced players. When you first encounter the Vex Incursion Zone on Neomuna in the Lightfall campaign, you’ll have a difficult time, but farming them becomes much more manageable with the proper armor and weapons. Let’s look at how to complete Vex Incursion Zones in Destiny 2.

How To Farm Vex Incursion Zones in Destiny 2

During a Vex Incursion Zone, enemies spawn in great numbers, unlike the typical small and manageable amount that typically generates around Neomuna. In addition to a more substantial enemy force, more Strand Meditations will drop, and its location is in an area central to several other activities within the game.

The Vex Incursion Zone is where a Vex Strike Force appears, rotating locations throughout Neomuna. The Vex Incursion Zone in Destiny 2 can occur in one of three places on Neomuna:

  • Zephyr Concourse
  • Liming Harbor
  • Ahimsa Park

However, finding the location of the current Vex Incursion Zone is easy if you know where to look. Throughout the map in Destiny 2, there are loads of map markers for different activities, including Vex Incursion Zones. You can distinguish the Vex Incursion Zone markers as a green and purple diamond-shaped marker in one of the three previously mentioned locations around Neomuna.

The Vex Incursion Zone acts similarly to a public event, but you are only allowed a Fireteam of three players. However, taking in a full Fireteam would be a good idea, considering the number of Vex Combatants you must face.

Completing a Vex Incursion Zone is beneficial. If you defeat all the bosses, you are guaranteed an Exotic drop. Alternatively, Vex Strike Forces drop an increased amount of Strand Meditations. If you’re looking to get your hands on any of the new Season of the Witch Exotic armor, then you’ll want to focus on Vex Incursion Zones, as they’re a great way to get the Pyrogale Gauntlets and many other pieces of armor.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
