The X Marks The Spot DMZ mission is a Crown faction objective that tasks you to extract the Koschei Complex map from this location. What Are The Objectives of The X Marks The Spot DMZ Mission?

- Extract the Koschei Complex map.
This mission seems so simple in words, but it’s a lot more than that. Doing things by steps, first, you need to be prepared for entering the Koschei Complex. Pick your best armed active-duty operator, and bring as much loot and armor as you can with you. Next, you must find two jumper cables and two car batteries before entering the Koschei Complex. You can easily find these items as ground loot on the Al-Mazrah map.
After you’ve packed your bag, it’s time to enter the Complex from one of its four entrances. Once inside, proceed to reach the Chemical Plant’s bunker door. This is the dark area between all the locations of the Complex, and you can open its door by placing the jumper cables and a battery in the power box next to it. When you get inside, remember to search the area for the small rooms inside it that have light. You’ll find the R4D detector there, and you’ll need to pick it for a later objective in your X Marks The Spot DMZ mission.

Next, you’ll need to reach the Alpha Cluster section to proceed in the X Marks The Spot DMZ mission. Look for the twin bunker door in the Chemical Plant section to find the Alpha Cluster. You’ll find a power box between the two doors, and if you put the battery and jumper cables inside it, they’ll open with a push of a red button.
Head inside the Alpha Cluster, and you’ll face waves of enemy soldiers attacking you! Kill them all, and proceed until you reach the server room that has the L2-locked doors inside it. Look for a locked door with a keypad on it. Now is the time to use that R4D detector!

You need to use the R4D detector tactical to see the symbols on the keypad. Then you need to search the room, finding chalkboards. Now if you look at these boards with the R4D detector, you’ll see some calculations on them, which also contains the symbols you saw on the keypad. These symbols each stand for a number; you can find their equivalents on the boards.
Once you figure out the meaning of each symbol, enter the code in order, and the door will open. There’s valuable loot inside, but you need a particular item to pick and extract from Koschei Complex. The Complex’s map is right on the floor when you get inside, and you need to store it in your backpack. After that, exfil safely from the Koschei Complex to complete the X Marks The Spot DMZ mission.

Remember that if you die during this mission, you need to do all the steps for another time. That’s why the best you can do is to have teammates by your side when making the X Marks The Spot DMZ mission. You should also know that there’s a file location right inside the Alpha Cluster’s server room. All you need to do is to call the elevator and survive until it arrives. However, if there was no elevator inside this area, you’ll need to return to the Chemical Plant section and exfil from an elevator there.
