As you progress through the tutorial, you’ll get the basic weapons to keep you alive in this new area. You’ll first receive a knife, a pickaxe, and a club. However, as with other crafting recipes in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, such as the bow, you will find them only after collecting specific materials or creating workstations. So, if you want to increase the materials in your backpack or your weaponry to be ready for any enemy or prey, you must know how to get the bow.
Where to Get the Bow Crafting Recipe in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?
The first thing you need in your adventure is a Crafting Table, and you only need x4 Ash Logs to create it and unlock the other weapon recipes, but the bow will not be available yet. This is because next, you need to build the Spinning Wheel with 12 Ash Logs, x2 Stone, and x4 Flax. Also, be sure you collect a lot of Flax on your way; these blue flowers are essential to creating the Coarse Thread on the Spinning Wheel. Once you have enough thread, return it to the Crafting Table, and you will have the bow recipe unlocked. You need x3 Coarse Thread and x12 Ash Logs to craft a bow.

You already have your new long-range weapon, but that’s still insufficient because you’ll need Arrows. You have two choices of Arrows on the Crafting Table:
- Stone Arrow
- You will need x1 Stone, x1 Ash Logs, and x1 Feather. These Arrows deal 8 Damage.
- Fang Arrow
- This recipe requires x1 Fang, x1 Ash Log, and x1 Feather. The Fang Arrows deal 11 Damage.
The bow and arrows are handy in RuneScape: Dragonwilds for distant enemies to surprise them or to hunt the elusive deer that run as you approach. As a result, it’ll be much easier to get other materials with this weapon, such as animal skins.
