Berserker Tombs in God of War Ragnarok
The Berserker Tombs is a story or Favor in God of War Ragnarok directly related to Mimir. As you find tombs and eliminate berserkers, Mimir and Kratos will discuss all the mysteries behind these formidable warriors. One of the berserkers you have to defeat is Fraekni the Zealous in God of War Ragnarok.
The life bar of these enemies (as well as the rest) can have several colors that indicate how difficult it will be to defeat them:
- Red: forget about it. It’ll beat you to a pulp.
- Purple: be careful because you are below the recommended level.
- Orange: challenging combat, but not impossible.
- Green: no worries, you’re in good shape.
Hopefully, Fraekni the Zealous in God of War Ragnarok, will be green by the time you attempt to defeat him.
The favor indicates that there are 12 Berserker Souls to defeat. Still, in reality, there are 10 encounters, including King Hrólf. They will not always be single fights. Occasionally, you will face two and three berserkers at the same time. It’s crazy.
How to defeat Fraekni the Zealous in God of War Ragnarok

Fraekni is a reasonably fast enemy who dashes around mainly to the sides. So it is pretty easy to block his yellow attack, and the red one can be seen coming with plenty of time, at least the one that is close. What you should be careful with is two things in particular:
If you link a long combo, he’ll launch a quick counterattack followed by an unstoppable one.
He will launch a swift red attack if he is far away. As soon as you see him lower his weapon, dodge to the side.
As a reward for defeating Fraekni the Zealous in God of War Ragnarok, he will drop the Berserker Waist Protector.
