Kaeula’s Shadow is the boss that spawns at the end of the Kaeula’s Rest Dungeon in Remnant 2. While the Dungeon may be a pain to get through, Kaeula’s Shadow is quite a bit more complex and will take some hard work to beat. Before encountering Kaeula’s Shadow, you must first find the Tear of Kaeula ring after unlocking a door within the Dungeon. However, the fight may be worth it to get the Twilight Dactylus. How To Find the Tear of Kaeula Ring
After you’ve made it through a large portion of the Kaeula’s Rest Dungeon, you must find the Tear of Kaeula. The Tear of Kaeula is a ring that will teleport you into the boss arena and give you a strong advantage against Kaeula’s Shadow. You can find the Tear of Kaeula on the stone slab surrounded by water under a statue of Kaeula.
Once you pick up the Tear of Kaeula, you will instantly teleport into the boss arena, the first room you enter in the Dungeon filled with water. Before you begin fighting Kaeula’s Shadow, ensure you equip the Tear of Kaeula, as it gives you two additional charges to your healing ability and will help you get through the fight much more manageable. Now, it’s time to be on your way to defeat the Kaeula’s Shadown boss in Remnant 2.
How To Defeat Kaeula’s Shadow in Remnant 2
When Kaeula’s Shadow emerges, you will find yourself face-to-face with a massive monster made of roots. Kaeula’s Shadow is great at traveling through the knee-deep water that slows you down, so be aware of where the boss is. Kaeula’s Shadow will periodically stay back and attack you with root tentacles that burst up from the ground. It is easy to take the tentacles down with a few swings of your melee weapon.
Once the tentacles are taken down, Kaeula’s Shadow will approach you again, swimming through the water so you cannot see it. This is where you need to be aware of where the boss is. She will pop up out of the water near you, causing damage to your character.
The best way to take down the Kaeula’s Shadow boss in Remnant 2 requires a bit of health and a melee weapon. At this point, the Tear of Kaeula ring will come in handy because you will get up close and personal with Kaeula’s Shadow. The best way to take the boss down is with melee attacks. Be sure to dodge whenever you see Kaeula’s Shadow preparing to attack. Follow these steps, and you will have defeated the Kaeula’s Shadow boss in Remnant 2.
