Grand Theft Auto V or GTA V for short, is probably the most popular game ever made since it is the highest-grossing game of all time. GTA V has everything a fan of the series could ask for. It is filled with many main and side missions, not to mention all the over-the-top heist missions. Speaking of heists, one of the weapons you will use mostly in the game is a Sticky Bomb. As the name of the weapon suggests, you can place or throw it at something, and then it will be stuck to it so that you can detonate afterward. So in case you don’t know how to detonate sticky bombs in GTA V, then here is a guide on how to do it.

How to Detonate Sticky Bombs in GTA V

GTA V has all sorts of different weapons that you can choose from. From small semi-automatic pistols to heavy miniguns. There are other items like grenades or sticky bombs that will be amazing when you are dealing with many enemies.

Among the many explosives you can choose from in the game, Sticky Bomb is probably the best. The main reason is that you can determine when it should explode. However, you might get confused about how to actually detonate the bombs.

There are two ways you can detonate sticky bombs in GTA V. The first one is quite simple, but it’s not very stealthy. Once you’ve thrown or placed a sticky bomb, simply aim and shoot at it. Although make sure you are not in the blast radius of the bomb since it will cause you damage too.

But the other way is to use the remote to make them explode. This will differ depending on what platform you are playing the game on. If you are playing on Xbox or PlayStation, first place the sticky bomb where you want. Then all you have to do is hit the left button on D-Pad to make the bombs explode.

If you are playing on a PC, follow the same pattern, and when you want the bomb to be exploded, hit the G key on your keyboard.

GTA V is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
