You have to dive to go to the underground area of this mysterious and unique island. Learning how to dive might be tricky because the route you will follow is a bit complicated. Luckily, this guide will walk you through how to unlock diving in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
How To Unlock Diving in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
To dive underwater in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll need a Snorkel. After crafting a Snorkel, you can dive anywhere you want underwater. To make a Snorkel, you need to learn the Snorkel plans from Kuromi. But Kuromi won’t give you these plans unless you do something for her.
First, you’ll need to unlock the “Deep Diving” quest by reaching Friendship Level 6 with Kuromi. Upon completing this quest, she will give you the plans for crafting a Snorkel. You can gift her Jack-o-Lanterns or Pumpkins to increase your Friendship Level with her.
After reaching Level 6, visit her in the Spooky Swamp. Kuromi will ask you to help her return the locket she dropped into the deep Swamp. She will lend you her Snorkel for once until you complete this quest. To get the locket, swim until you see the Snorkel icon. Then drag it down on the slider to dive.
After you give her the locket, she will say you can’t have her Snorkel, but she will provide you with the plans to craft it. This way, you can craft it and dive freely with your own Snorkel.
How To Craft the Snorkel
Now that you have the plans from Kuromi, all you need to do is craft a Snorkel. Making one is pretty easy; you just need the following material:
- 10x Rubber
- 2x Sparks
- 2x Iron Ingot
Rubber is the easiest material to find among them. You can simply visit the Seaside Resort area and look under the base of palm trees, and you’ll find Rubber there.
You can craft Spark with 3x Light Stone at a Crafting Table. You can get the plans for the Spark by completing the “A Zipline Adventure” quest with Pochacco. Moreover, Light Stones can be obtained from Kuromi. Once you gift her Pumpkins or Jack-O-Lanterns, she will give you Light Stones in return.
You can craft Iron Ingot with 3x Iron Ore at a Crafting Table. You can find Iron Ore around Mount Hothead. Once more, you’ll need the plans for crafting Iron Ingot. You can get the plans on a barrel to the left of the Dance Hall in Gemstone Mountain. Then you can craft Iron Ingot and use it to make the Snorkel.
