The full release of MultiVersus comes with new features and the loss of some familiar ones for those who played the beta. For instance, gold is gone and has been replaced with a handful of different currencies. To unlock characters, you’ll need to earn Fighter Currency in MultiVersus. It’s straightforward enough to purchase this currency in the store. But If you’re pushing F2P,  you should prepare for a bit of a grind. It is possible, so strap in and prepare to lose yourself in the multiverse.

You can earn Fighter Currency multiple ways in MultiVersus, but we want to aim for the fastest route possible. It can still take you some time since it’s a grind, no matter what, but the best solution may be to focus on Missions and the Battle Pass.

You’ll naturally complete Missions, and plenty of them offer Fighter Currency as rewards. Along with that, you’ll gain experience points, and reaching new levels also comes with its own progress rewards.

As for the Battle Pass, various Tiers rewards offer hundreds in Fighter Currency. Typically, progressing through Missions and the story helps you with the Battle Pass, so if you earn in one, you should earn in the other two. This gives you double the chance to increase your MultiVersus Fighter Currency.

Another great way to gain Fighter Currency fast to unlock a certain MultiVersus character is to focus on Character Mastery. For instance, reaching Level 5 with a character earns you 100 Fighter Currency. Be sure to play around with all the characters you already have, though. The more you spread this mastery around, the better your chances of gaining all the currency you need.

Additional Ways To Earn

Although those may be a good way to build up Fighter Currency quickly in MultiVersus, you can still focus on the other avenues to get richer over time. This way, you’re always building it up, and you’ll have enough to unlock your favorite MultiVersus character before you know it.

  • Completing Rifts: Hitting this single-player mode on easier difficulties can help you get through them faster and earn more Fighter Currency.
  • In-Game Events: Events come and go, so you’ll want to participate because they offer various rewards, especially currency.

As long as you participate and play, whether in single-player mode or PvP, you’ll always earn Fighter Currency. It’s just a matter of patience, but with how much fun you can have dipping into this chaotic multiverse, you probably won’t even notice the grind.

MultiVersus is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
