With so many Eikons, it is important to know how they work. If you want to know how to equip and use Eikons in Final Fantasy 16, read on.
Final Fantasy 16: How to Equip Eikons
While the demo of Final Fantasy 16 was great, it didn’t explain too much about how to equip and use Eikons in Final Fantasy 16. Knowing how to use them in combat is crucial, given how Eikons and Dominants are the bread and butter of the game. To equip them, you must head to the main menu by pressing the “Options” button and head to the “Abilities” tab. Here, you can swap and combine certain Eikon abilities, which will then let you use said abilities when fighting.
How to Use Eikons
If you’ve successfully equipped your Eikons, it is time to learn how to use them in Final Fantasy 16. When fighting, you must press the R2 button and the button corresponding to the ability you want to cast (Square or Triangle). You’ll notice that these abilities aren’t infinite, and you’ll have to swap Eikons to make the best out of this system. To swap Eikons, press L2 which will change to the next equipped Eikon. You must memorize the order of your Eikons to remember which one goes after. This will make fighting smoother and let you chain some of the best abilities in the game while fighting. It is important to note you can only equip 3 Eikons at once.
That’s all we have on how to equip and use Eikons in Final Fantasy 16. As you can see, using them isn’t hard, but the system is quite deep and offers several customization options for players. Those who like character builds will find a great balance when playing this game. There are many Eikons in the game that you can mix and match until you find your favorite combination. Plus, changing them is quite easy, and it isn’t permanent, so don’t be afraid to experiment with Clive and his abilities.
