How to Evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Gimmighoul, a weird Reddit mascot-like Pokemon that often lives inside a treasure box, is one of the many new creatures you will encounter in the Paldea region. One might seem that this Pokemon is a Pokemon that has no evolutionary lines; however, it can evolve into a Pokemon named Gholdengo. And the method to evolve it is as weird (or annoying) as it looks. Here’s how you can evolve a Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How To Evolve Gimmighoul Into Gholdengo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Gimmghoul can only be evolved once you have 999 Gimmighoul Coins and leveled up a Chest Form Gimmighoul. Do not level up a Roaming Form Gimmighoul, though, because it will not work. After the Chest Form Gimmighoul has evolved into a Gholdengo, your collection of hard-earned Gimmighoul Coins will disappear. • Type: Steel/Ghost
• HP: 87
• Attack: 60
• Defense: 95
• Special Attack: 133
• Special Defense: 91
• Speed: 84
• Ability: Good as Gold – Unaffected by other Pokemon’s status moves. But it does not block status moves that target themselves, entry hazards on the other side (like Stealth Rock), or all Pokemon.

Movelist:

Gholdengo is the only known Pokemon that can learn the Make It Rain move, a unique move where if it hits a target, it will give you PokeDollars five times the Gholdengo’s level. The amount doubles if you give the Gholdengo (or other Pokemon in battle) an Amulet Coin.
