Togepi, everyone’s favorite Fairy-type Spike Ball Baby Pokémon in Pokémon GO, can evolve into Togetic and Togekiss, one of the best combatants for Raid Bosses weak to Fairy-type Moves. When equipped with Fast Move: Charm and Charge Move: Dazzling Gleam, Togekiss can become a force to be reckoned with when pitted against Dragon-type or Fighting-type opponents like Hydreigon or Machamp. Furthermore, plenty of Legendaries possess the Dragon element, making them vulnerable to Togekiss’s effective Moveset. Accordingly, suppose you caught Togetic and wish to evolve it into its superior Jubilee evolution in Pokémon GO. In that case, the question becomes what is required to perform the transformation.
Evolving Togepi in Pokémon GO
To have Togepi evolve into Togetic and Togekiss in Pokémon GO, you will need a total of 125 Candies and an Evolution Item known as the Sinnoh Stone. 25 Candies are required for the evolution from Togepi to Togetic, and 100 Candies, including the Sinnoh Stone, are necessary for the jump from Togetic to Togekiss.

To farm Togepi Candy for the Baby Pokémon’s evolution in Pokémon GO, you will need to walk with the pocket monster as your Buddy and catch Togepi and its family members during Wild Encounters. Be sure to have Pinap Berries for the capture; otherwise, you “lose” potential Candies for each catch. Participating in Raids that feature one of the members of the Togepi family is also an excellent way to get the necessary Candies for evolving the Fairy-type Spike Ball Pokémon. It is also possible to earn a decent amount of Candies from hatching Togepi from 2 KM Egg. However, the chances that you will get the pocket monster you want are dependent on RNG.
Acquiring the Sinnoh Stone required for Togepi’s evolution is more tricky than procuring Candy in Pokémon GO, as the likelihood you will obtain one is entirely up to chance. According to the TheSilphRoad member dabrewmaster22, you can get Sinnoh Stones by achieving a Weekly Research Breakthrough by completing the objectives received from spinning Pokéstops. Another way is by participating in Trainer Battles by fighting other players in the Battle League or from your Friends List. Defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders also occasionally reward victors with a Sinnoh Stone. Finally, clearing specific limited-time Research questlines sometimes offers Sinnoh Stones for participation.
Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
