Scrap is the main currency in Remnant 2, and you can get it for almost any activity in the game. The “best” method is essentially exploring worlds, which will net you plenty of Scrap over time. Nonetheless, we still advise you to focus on the following activities:

  • Selling items.
  • Finding hidden chests.
  • Battle with hordes of enemies.

Selling Items

As you explore the game world, fight, and complete quests, you will quickly accumulate a lot of materials or equipment you won’t use. Unfortunately, you can’t salvage unused gear for Scrap, but you can sell them instead. Although the cost of many items does not exceed 10-15 Scraps, you can make a good profit by selling a lot.

In addition, you can get Lumenite crystals by fighting the strongest enemies and mini-bosses. This material is needed to upgrade Mutators and craft new Mods, but if you have a surplus, you can sell them for as much as 150 Scraps.

Hidden Chests

The second way can also reward you with an impressive sum of in-game currency, as each chest contains an average of 50 to 150 Scrap. In addition, inside the chest, you will find other items you can sell for additional income.

Chests rarely spawn in open areas but are not so hidden as to be difficult to find. Once you get close enough to the chest, you will see an orange marker indicating the treasure’s location. So check the in-game map periodically, and you won’t miss anything.

Killing Enemies

Finally, we note the least effective but relatively passive way to farm Scrap. Hordes of enemies are commonplace in almost any location in Remnant 2, so finding them will not be difficult. Of course, not every enemy drops Scrap upon death. Still, you will accumulate an impressive sum relatively quickly by killing all the monsters in your path.
