If you manage to activate one, a historian in Jinzhou will promptly contact you via your Pangu Terminal. When you speak with the man in the city, you will start the Lost History side quest, where you need to locate five Lighthouses. In order to access the recordings, you must solve Signal Console puzzles and even fight Tacet Discords.

Wuthering Waves Lost History Quest Guide
All Lighthouses in Wuthering Waves are located in remote areas. Besides containing old recordings, you may also find one Sonance Casket on top of each building. All consoles also hold coordinates that will lead you to buried treasure chests that you must dig up.
Frosting Harbour Lighthouse
The first Lighthouse in Wuthering Waves can be found north of the Forsting Harbour. This area is located on the southeast section of the map. The building will be covered in thorns, and you must destroy them with an Explosive Charge.
Once the fire has died down, you can climb the structure to reach the console. Here is the solution to the puzzle:
At the end of the recording, you will receive a riddle that tells you the location of the treasure chest. Although it implies that you need to change the time, you can still dig up the loot at night. Just run toward the Frosting Harbour, and you will see a shining spot on the dirt path.
Forbidden Forest Lighthouse
You can find the second Lighthouse in Wuthering Waves south of the Forbidden Forest. Similar to the previous structure, you also have to burn down all the thorns in the area. There are three Explosive Charges nearby, but the closest one is hidden inside a thorn cluster. So, you need to burn down the farthest thorns until you can break down the plants covering the structure.
Once you decrypt the terminal, you will be able to find the treasure chest north of the Lighthouse. Just look for white light coming from the grass, and you can dig up a Standard Supply Chest.
Tiderise Cliff Lighthouse
The next Lighthouse in Wuthering Waves can be found east of the Tiderise Cliff. The console will be out of power, and you need to place two Induction Cells into nearby power supply units. If you have trouble locating them, use your Sensor ability.
The console will spit out another treasure chest coordinates. You can find it north of the Lighthouse, near an orange flower.
Nameless Bay Lighthouse
The fourth Lighthouse can be found on the Nameless Bay, which is located northeast of the Corroded Ruins. To activate the console, you need to head east and speak with an Infrastructure Division Member.
The man will tell you to install an Induction Cell to a nearby supply power unit and activate five Pylons in a sequential order. The game will give you 45 seconds to complete this challenge. Luckily, you should be able to reach the Lighthouse by continuously sprinting and using your grapple hook.
After you hack the terminal, you need to find another treasure chest. The loot will be hiding underneath a large rock east of the Lighthouse.
Camp Overwatch Lighthouse
The last Lighthouse in Wuthering Waves is located near Camp Overwatch in the Desorock Highland region. You must escort the Junior Engineer standing west of the building. Three waves of Tacet Discords will block your path, with the last one spawning near the Lighthouse.
The treasure chest can be found on the northeast side of the structure. Once you claim your reward, the Historian will contact you again. Return to Jinzhou, and you can get a Premium Supply chest after completing the Lost History quest.
