Gible is a Dragon- and Ground-type Land Shark Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus that evolves into Gabite and Garchomp after certain level milestones have been reached. It is no secret that Garchomp is one of the best Dragon-type pocket monsters of the series, regardless of the title; therefore, acquiring this Pseudo-Legendary Mach Pokémon should be a unit that everyone should strive to add to their Pokédex and roster. It is possible to catch Gible without confrontation by using various types of Poké Balls. However, if players get into combat with this Land Shark Pokémon, it would be ideal to use Ice-, Dragon-, or Fairy-type Moves.

Catching & Evolving Gible in Pokémon Legends Arceus

Finding a Gible in Wayward Cave in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Gible can be found in multiple locations in the Hisui region of Pokémon Legends Arceus. If Trainers explore the mountain range west of Clamberclaw Cliffs in the Coronet Highlands zone, there is a good chance they will encounter one or two Wild Gibles roaming the hilltops.

According to YouTuber RaZzi, one of the best places to find Gible in Pokémon Legends Arceus would be the Wayward Cave, a sizeable island grotto south of the Soronous Path and east of Heavensward Lookout in Coronet Highlands. Sources at Game8 additionally state that Gible can appear slightly south of the Avalanche Slopes, an area in the southeastern corner of the Alabaster Icelands. Finally, it is possible for Gible to spawn in Massive Mass Outbreaks within the Coronet Highlands. However, these events are random and are not a reliable means to catch the Dragon- and Ground-type Land Shark Pokémon. After Trainers find Gible, they can use Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, or Plump Beans to lure it to a location or face a certain direction. Catching the pocket monster has a chance of yielding Crunchy Salt and Balls of Mud.

Once Trainers have caught Gible in Pokémon Legends Arceus, they can evolve it into Gabite by advancing the Land Shark Pokémon to Level 24. If the pocket monster was already Level 24 or higher when caught, it evolves upon the subsequent level up. Likewise, Gabite evolves into Garchomp after reaching Level 48. One of the fastest ways to level Gible for its evolution phases would be to find and subdue Alpha Chansey or Blissey in the Cobalt Coastlands and Obsidian Fieldlands, respectively.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available on the Nintendo Switch.
