How to Find and Use Crank Handle in Resident Evil 2 Remake
As you progress through the game in Resident Evil 2 Remake, you will face many different puzzles, where you either have to figure out something or simply look for an item or key to unlock it. Square Handle Key is one that you will need in the game.
After you escape the RPD successfully, you will be led to the underground where the jail is located. This is where you will also find the Crank Handle. After you’ve explored the parking garage, go to the cell with the journalist at the end of the hallway. After watching a little cutscene, you can explore the area freely. The Crank Handle is located on top of the table opposite the jail cell.
Although bear in mind that you cannot find the Handle Crank in Claire’s campaign. In that campaign, you will enter the Break Room instead of the Generator Room. After you’ve got the Crank Handle, make your way to the corridor on the right side of Kennel.
In there, you will find the place where you can use the Crank Handle and open the gate that leads to the Generator Room. To use the Handle, simply interact with it and select the Handle from the inventory menu that pops up.
