Don’t let the slowness of Sir Magnus the Overseer fool you because this boss is extremely difficult. Even if your character is level 66, it is very likely that you will have a difficult time with this boss battle. This boss has extremely powerful combos, so if you’re playing with a friend, we recommend killing it together.
- He starts spinning with his spear and if he hits you, he throws you aside and deals high damage. So be careful not to get caught in this attack.
- When he bends his spear forward, it means that he will Dash toward you. Keep your hand on the dodge button or be ready to run in the opposite direction.
- Usually, after he hits you with a normal attack, he bends his spear forward again, but this time a blue light comes out of the tip. Then he throws 3 Ice Shards and if one of them touches you, you will freeze.
- When he hits the ground with his spear, he pushes you back a little bit with a little wind and many pieces of ice come out of the ground. These ice chunks reduce your movement speed considerably.
- When he bends down and blue light starts coming out of his hand, you can tell he’s going to use his Ice Block ability to freeze himself. In this case, you can reach Sir Magnus the Overseer without touching the little icebergs that he’s pulled out of the ground. Then you have to hit him as much as you can, even if it freezes itself, it reduces health.
After defeating Sir Magnus the Overseer you can get Tier 3 Cloak and Ice Block ability. That’s all you need to know about Sir Magnus the Overseer location added in the Gloomrot update.
