Looking to find Floaters in Fallout 76? Don’t miss out on the valuable loot drops from these unique enemies.

These mutated flatworms might not be the most attractive creatures, but they’re worth hunting down. Players seek floaters for the valuable explosives they drop when killed, not to mention the daily and weekly challenges that require taking them down. But where can you find them? Look no further! We’ve got the scoop on how to track down these elusive creatures.

Where to find Floaters in Fallout 76

Looking to find Floaters in Fallout 76

If you want to maximize your Floaters per hour, there are several locations where they’re known to spawn. These areas include Big Maw, Lake Eloise, Old Mold Quarry, Solomon’s Pond, and Spruce Knob Channels. However, once you’ve wiped out the Floaters in these areas, you’ll need to server-hop or hit up the smaller spawning locations to keep the party going.

Suppose you’re just looking to complete a challenge or two. In that case, Floaters can also be found at the following locations: Darling Sister’s Lab, Nicholson’s End, Red Rocket Filling Station, Grafton, Hornwright Air Purifier Site 03, The Sludge Works, Big B’s Rest Stop, Safe ‘n Clean Disposal, and Eastern Regional Penitentiary Cell Block D.

While these spots don’t offer as many Floaters per area as the larger farms, they’re still worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Server hopping can be helpful when trying to find Floaters in Fallout 76. If you have already cleared out the Floaters in a specific area, server hopping can allow you to revisit that location with a new set of enemies. It can also increase the chances of finding Floaters by refreshing the spawn rates. To server hop, simply exit the main menu and select a new server when logging in. However, remember that server hopping too frequently can trigger anti-cheat measures, so limiting how often you do it is best.

How to Defeat Floaters

Floaters come in three elemental varieties: Gnasher, Freezer, and Flamer. Gnashers deal in acid damage, Freezers are all about the cryo, and Flamers packs a fiery punch. Focus on one type at a time to avoid spreading damage around. Lastly, if you’re struggling with Floaters, consider bringing along a friend or two to help. With some strategy and teamwork, taking down and finding Floaters in Fallout 76 can be a rewarding experience. When you’re hunting for Floaters, keep your eyes peeled for glowing red, green, or blue spots on the ground, indicating that they’re underground and ready to ambush their prey.

There are all the tips and tricks you need to hunt down and find Floaters in Fallout 76. So get out there and show those mutated flatworms who’s boss.

Fallout 76 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
