In addition to a colorful open world and a fascinating plot, Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora offers many trophies to unlock and earn. One of the trophies/achievements is No Easy Prey, which requires finding and killing a Non-Feral Thanator. This iconic Pandora inhabitant has excellent hunting skills and intelligence, making it a difficult target to defeat. You will have to find the lair of this predator on the southern coast of Mentor’s River. The Thanator is one of the most dangerous early-game enemies, so we’re here to help you find and defeat it.

As we said, to find Thanator in Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, you must go south of Mentor’s River and visit the small forest in the Big Leaf Biome. Concentrate your search in the densely wooded area under the large twisting roots, as this is the only place you can find the Non-Feral Thanator.

The local version of these enemies is much stronger than those you could meet in other locations. In addition, this is the only location where you can get drops from these enemies, but the valuable loot comes with high risks.

Once you reach the desired location, you won’t have to hunt Thanator for long. Being a good hunter, this monster will find you, and you will know when this happens by several signs. The edges of your screen will turn white, and Na’vi vision will stop working. In addition, you will begin to hear your heartbeat. And it will become increasingly louder as you get closer to the Non-Feral Thanator.

All the warning signs won’t last too long as the enemy will attack soon. The high strength and health indicators of Thanator require the player to have at least 15 Combat Strength and large reserves of Dapophet Pods so as not to die too quickly. In addition, we recommend using the Shortbow in battle since you won’t have much time to reload the Heavy Bow. Using traps is good but be careful to avoid RDA weapons, as you will damage the body and won’t be able to harvest resources from the creature.

Once you defeat the Non-Feral Thanator, you will receive many valuable crafting and cooking materials. If this is your first victory against this Non-Feral enemy, you will also receive the No Easy Prey achievement.
