Fishing is one of the greatest in-game mechanics, next to the romancing option, that you can add to a resource-farming game like Coral Island. You can use fish to make meals or you can gift them to other characters, donate them to the museum, or sell them for some extra cash. To do this, however, you need to know how to fish in Coral Island first, along with all of the fish locations.
Fishing Guide – Coral Island Walkthrough
(Updated on August 13, 2024 – updated links and format)
You’ll get your first fishing pole after completing the Visit the Beach Shack quest. After that, you’ll be able to upgrade it at Sunny’s Beach Shack using a mixture of both coral coins and resources. Next, you can go to any of the following locations to fish. It’s just important to remember that there isn’t any specific place among these where you can do this:
- The ponds by the farm.
- The rice field to the south of Kira and Jack’s house.
- The lake where the Goddess Temple is located.
- The estuary by the Lookout.
- The Ocean
- The Dock – near the Fishensips and Zarah’s Boat are.
- The Beach – along the south side of the beach.
- The Lookout – around the lighthouse and the lookout itself.
- The Forest – the far left of the farm area.
- The Cavern
- Earth mine level.
- Water mine level.
- Wind mine level.
- Fire mine level.
