We’ve been solving errors for the sake of playing Call of Duty games for almost two decades now. Every year a bunch of these errors get fixed, and new ones emerge, which proves the growing nature of the franchise, developing to bigger status every time we get to jump into Warzone or pat our Captain’s back after an intense SAS mission on Modern Warfare. Nonetheless, errors are inevitable in the gaming world, and none shall remain unsolved. That is why we’ve gathered a fix for every Black Ops 6, MW3, and Warzone error in this article. Ready up soldier!
Error Diver
Could it be a more annoying error than this one? Every time there’s a big seasonal update for the Call of Duty HQ, the diver error emerges on our screen. You need a stable connection to the Call of Duty servers for your account to get verified so that you can receive your “restart” button and pass this one.
If you’re playing on a poor internet connection, or you’re in one of the banned locations for Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, or Battle.Net networks, the error diver will ruin your Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone day for you. The fix?
- Use Google’s DNS – 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Restart your device.
- Log out from your account and log back in.
- Use VPN as the last resort and turn it off as soon as you’ve done your update restart.
Crash Handler
This is for the PC players only, and it happens if you’re playing on Steam, Battle.Net, or even the Game Pass launcher. The reason for this MW3 and Warzone error is your system’s software updates. Did you update your DirectX to the latest version? Have you updated your graphic card’s driver? It’s really all you should do. Update the GPU driver, and you’re good to go.
Missing DLC Files
This error could be happening for every Call of Duty game that’s featured in the HQ, including Black Ops 6 beta, MW2, MW3, and Warzone. If the game is telling you that you haven’t installed certain files for a game mode, just follow the steps below and download the content:
- Open your settings menu. That’s pressing the pause button on your consoles and Esc on the keyboard.
- Choose manage files.
- See what part is missing from the game you want to play and download it to fix this error in MW3, Warzone, and Black Ops 6 beta.
Game Freeze
This happens a lot if you’re playing on low-end devices, or if you’re forcing your PC to render in ultra-quality. Or maybe you’re just streaming and double-working with your PC’s processor, huh? If your GPU or CPU gets overheated, the game freezes, and the best you can do is a sweet Alt+F4 to restart.
But sometimes, everything is buttery smooth and there ain’t even an overheating issue to cause a freeze. What about that? Well, if it’s not a hardware issue, then you might as well check your software; the GPU driver in specific. Every time a season changes in Warzone and MW3, the game’s compatibility with different GPU devices is affected.
Every Other Coded MW3 and Warzone Errors Fix
There are many other code names for different errors that appear while trying to log into the game on all platforms, including Hudson, Error Code 12502, etc. While the names are different, the reason for their screen pop is quite evident.
For example, if you lose connection in the middle of an online match, log out of your account, play on a poor internet connection, or have 3rd party apps closing the game, these errors show up. The fix for this kind of MW3 and Warzone errors relies on your system, internet connection, and the region you play in, so, there ain’t no certain do-this do-that to solve them.
