The First Descendant players are likely aware of the multiple login errors and loading issues that have been plaguing it. Unfortunately, one specific problem is that players face an infinite loading screen just after opening the game. The game is live-service, so it’s expected to have some server issues and the like, but this error seems neverending. However, there are a couple of things you can do to bypass it. Check For Ongoing Maintenance
One of the biggest reasons for an infinite loading screen is ongoing maintenance. Usually, when this happens, notes and update posts will appear when you open the game. They will inform you about any ongoing maintenance that will affect your ability to play the game.
Completely Exit the Game and Restart
I’ve encountered that exiting the game on whatever platform you’re playing on, and then jumping back in resolves the issue. Of course, if there is ongoing maintenance, then this won’t resolve the issue until after the maintenance has concluded.
Wait For An Update Fix
NEXON will announce any updates to the game concerning infinite loading screens and other issues. To help keep you in the loop, here’s the game’s official Twitter and Discord. They will also compensate players for the issue with tons of rewards.
What Compensation Do Players Get For the Issue?
The compensation may be different each time. However, for day-one issues, players will receive the following:
- Gold Gain Boost +30% (This lasts for three days)
- Kyper Shard Gain Boost +30% (This lasts for three days)
- Descendant EXP Gain Boost +30% (This lasts for three days)
- Weapon Mastery EXP Gain Boost +30% (This lasts for three days)
- 2 x Matte Red Paints
