One of the most vital Persona you can get in Persona 3 Reload is King Frost, which lets you unlock a new Theurgy skill. Unfortunately, this Persona is rather hard to obtain if you don’t have the necessary key item and know the correct fuse combination. That said, we will explain the most straightforward King Frost fuse combination you can use in the regular version and the DLC version of Persona 3 Reload.

Fusing new Personas in Persona 3 Reload can be confusing since there are dozens of Personas that you can obtain. Things get even more convoluted because the Fusion result can vary depending on whether or not you have DLC Personas in your game.

Before you can get King Frost, you must obtain the Sugar Key by completing Elizabeth’s Request number 22. This side quest is easy because you only have to fuse a Persona with Level 23 or higher.

Once you have the key item, here are the combinations you can attempt to fuse King Frost:

  • Base game
    • Orpheus x Shiki-Ouji
    • Leanan Sidhe x Power
    • Lamia x Matador
    • Legion x Mithras
  • DLC version
    • Arsene x Oni

If you play the base version of Persona 3 Reload, you can try the four combinations to get King Frost. However, I recommend fusing Orpheus with Shiki-Ouji because you are guaranteed to have Orpheus unlocked. On the other hand, you can obtain Shiki-Ouji by combining Orobas and Narcissus.

For the DLC version, I can only use my personal experience, so there is only one combination. You can obtain Arsene by fusing Tam Lin, Jack-O’-Lantern, and Neko Shogun via Special Fusion. Then, you can fuse Zorro and Eligor to get Oni. Finally, combine the two Personas to acquire King Frost.

Do note that you need to reach Level 34 before you can fuse King Frost. Unlike in Persona 5 Royal, you cannot obtain a Persona with a higher level than you by bribing your Velvet Room attendant.
