After Honkai Star Rail took the spotlight of the gacha genre, HoYoverse is pulling out all stops to make Zenless Zone Zero another mega-hit. While it shares many elements from the company’s previous games, especially Honkai Impact 3rd, Zenless has to be one of the most stylish games this company has launched. With millions of pre-registrations for this new adventure, Zenless Zone Zero is rewarding players with 100 free pulls you can use for your next waifu or husbando.

Before we delve into how to get the 100 free pulls in Zenless Zone Zero, let us clarify that you won’t get them all right away. All of the free pulls are locked behind events. You can do some of them in one sitting, but a few will require you to log in across several days and claim the rewards. With that out of the way, let’s look at how you’ll get all of them.

Let’s begin with the 1600 Polychrome you’ll get for free. Polychrome is ZZZ‘s premium currency, similar to Primogems in Genshin and Stellar Jade in Honkai. The 1600 Polychrome Zenless is giving out is equivalent to 10 pulls. To obtain them, you must finish the Road to Proxy Greatness event, which requires you to reach Inter-Knot Level 30. You’ll likely reach this level just by finishing the game’s main story and farming for materials. If you really want to speedrun this event and level up as fast as possible, we’ll give you a few tips below.

Let’s move on to the next 70 free pulls you’ll get in ZZZ. The following 70 pulls will come from different sources, mainly events and leveling up. First, you’ll get 10 pulls by unlocking the game’s event page. After that, you will find 20 pulls inside your mail as part of the pre-registration rewards. Finally, you’ll get 40 pulls by completing the Road to Proxy Greatness event. However, these last pulls are locked behind certain Inter-Knot levels. Here’s when you’ll get the 40 pulls:

  • Inter-Knot Level 5: 10 Master Tapes
  • Inter-Knot Level 15: 10 Master Tapes
  • Inter-Knot Level 20: 10 Master Tapes
  • Inter-Knot Level 25: 10 Master Tapes

Remember that Master Tapes are only for the standard banner. If you want to pull for premium limited-time characters, you must use Polychrome or the remaining 20 pulls.

The last 20 pulls are tied behind log-in events. The first 10 free pulls come from Zenless Zone Zero‘s first log-in event called New City Visitor’s Passport. Log in for seven days, and you’ll get 10 Encrypted Master Tapes. The last 10 pulls come from another log-in event, which begins on July 11, called Sixth Street Giveaway. This event will also give you 10 Encrypted Master Tapes. With all the events out of the way, this should be your total:

  • Polychrome x1600 (Equivalent to 10 pulls. Either Master Tapes or Encrypted Master Tapes).
  • Master Tapes x70 (Standard banner).
  • Encrypted Master Tapes x20 (Premium banners).

How To Increase Your Inter-Knot Level Fast

Since most of the 100 free pulls in Zenless Zone Zero require you to increase your Inter-Knot level, knowing how to do it fast is vital. At first, you’ll get a lot of Inter-Knot experience. However, there’ll be a time when you’ll hit a roadblock, and leveling up will become harder. Still, here are the activities you can do:

  • Complete the game’s main story.
  • Do all combat and exploration commissions.
  • Find all chests in the overworld (Cargo Trucks).
  • Complete your daily challenges.
  • Complete Combat Simulations.

Most main story commissions will give you anywhere between 400 to 2,000 Inter-Knot experience points. The rest of the activities will give you 50 to 400 Inter-Know experience, making them a great way to increase your level fast.

Other Ways To Earn Free ZZZ Pulls

HoYoverse isn’t a stranger when giving out freebies to its players, and thankfully, there are a few other ways to get pulls in ZZZ. Whenever you pull in any banner, you’ll get Residual Signal. You can exchange this currency for Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes. At the same time, you’ll get Fading Signal, which you can exchange for five Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes monthly. Each one costs 90 Faded Signal. Last but not least, pay attention to your mail, as HoYoverse tends to reward players with free currency after every update. While it’ll take time to get all free pulls, each one counts and will allow you to get your favorite Agents.
