Dying Light 2 recently got a huge update for the game’s second anniversary. Among all the new gears and outfits added to the game, we finally got firearms and guns as well. However, the game doesn’t tell you how to unlock or get them. So here is how you can get a gun in Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

How to Find a Gun in Dying Light 2

Unlike the first game of the installment, in Dying Light 2, we didn’t have any firearms or guns. Players would have to survive solely by using blades and blunt weapons. But things have changed with the new update that was released recently.

At the official update press of Dying Light 2, it is stated that “all Pilgrims who’ve completed the prologue will find the Harran Pistol in their stash until March 7,” which basically means you have to check your stash in your room after the prologue to get your very first gun in the game.

But that’s not the only weapon. There are now pistols, shotguns, SMGs, and assault rifles available in the game as well, but first, you have to unlock the merchant that sells them. In order to unlock that merchant and get a gun in Dying Light 2, you have to complete the Lost Armory Quest at the Fish Eye location.

This is a very easy quest without any tricky parts, and for the sake of not spoiling the story, we’ll skip how you can complete the quest. Once the Lost Armory is done, go to your room in the Fish Eye, and you will see the merchant sitting behind the desk.

Interact with him to check his inventory, and you can buy all sorts of guns from him. You will need Tokens to buy weapons, which can be acquired by completing Survivor Missions and Elite Missions. Elite missions will reward you with more tokens due to their difficulties. And to unlock more weapons in his shop, you have to do some bounty missions for him.
