You can get  Shard of The Light Dragon’s Spike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom from its back. However, locating the Light Dragon is not an easy task. During the Recovering the Hero Sword quest, you will obtain the master sword from the head of the Light Dragon. After that, finding this beautiful creature can be a bit daunting, given that it can spawn high overhead virtually anywhere around Hyrule.

The recommended locations to find it are high areas on the map, such as Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, Sahasra Skyview Tower, Near the Naydra Snowfield Chasm, and Yansamin Shrine. These locations are shown on the above map. Remember, once you farm one Shard from the dragon, you must wait until it glows back, which usually takes around ten minutes.
