With the exhausting number of pets in Roblox Adopt Me, it’s surprising to note that it took a while for hamsters to make it to the game. And it’s no surprise they’re wildly popular; the community has been clambering for hamsters for quite some time. There isn’t just one hamster pet you can get in Adopt Me. So, if you’re lucky (or trade savvy), you can get one too!
How to Get Every Hamster Pet in Roblox Adopt Me!
As mentioned before, there are three hamster pets in Roblox Adopt Me, each one more rare than the last:
- Hamster (Ultra-rare)
- Golden Hamster (Legendary)
- Diamond Hamster (Legendary)
Hamsters in Roblox Adopt Me aren’t obtained in the usual way of hatching eggs. Instead, you need to buy a special feed called Golden Corn. You can buy the Golden Corn by first heading to the Pet Shop and speaking with Nile, the adorable hamster with a yellow hat and camera.
Unfortunately, Golden Corn does cost Robux—199 Robux for one—but you may find a willing player to trade with as the feed is tradable, as are the hamsters.
Regardless of how you get Golden Corn in Adopt Me, you’ll want to open your inventory, equip it and use it while you’re in the Pet Shop. In doing so, hamsters will swarm the bait, but only one will be chosen.
Now, it’s worth noting that it doesn’t matter where you throw your bait. You may have noticed golden and diamond hamsters running about. Throwing your bait near those hamsters doesn’t matter; the odds are the same no matter what type of hamsters eat your bait.
As for value, you can bank on hamsters in Roblox Adopt Me to be around the same value as the Scarab Beetles, at least for a normal hamster. The Golden and Diamond Hamsters obviously being worth a lot more, like several Ride Potions.
