Festival of the Lost is finally back in Destiny 2, and boy, do we have some interesting masks this year. Each year, a set of masks is released for all Guardians to collect during the brief Festival of the Lost. This year, there’s a whole new set of masks that every player will want to add to their collection, especially since they feature some iconic characters. Here are all the new masks you can obtain in Destiny 2‘s Festival of the Lost 2025.
Destiny 2: All Masks and How To Get Them
There are a total of six masks players can obtain during the current Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2:
- Fungal Mask
- Orin Mask
- Lodi Mask
- Oryx Mask
- Grim Mask
- Failsafe Mask
Each mask is obtainable after meeting certain requirements or completing specific tasks. Below is what you need to do to claim every mask in Destiny 2.
Fungal Mask
You can get the Fungal Mask by participating in the new Haunted Altars of Sorrow game mode and defeating combatants as well as shattering Void crystals while inside it.
- Shatter 10 Void Crystals.
- Defeat 100 Combatants.
Orin Mask
Orin’s Mask in Destiny 2 will require you to also head into the Haunted Altars of Sorrow mode and defeat Headless Ones and complete waves.
- Defeat 5 Headless Ones.
- Complete 20 Waves.
Lodi Mask
The Lodi Mask might be the easiest one to obtain, as all you need to do is collect candy and participate in the event’s activities.
- Collect 200 Candy.
- Complete 20 Festival Activities.
Oryx Mask
Oryx Mask will require players to do some PvP and also collect a bit of candy before claiming this cosmetic for their collection.
- Defeat 25 Guardians.
- Collect 500 Candy.
Grim Mask
And we’re back to the PvE mode, and for this mask, you’ll need to embrace Void damage as well as collect treats during Haunted Altars of Sorrow.
- Dunk 150 Treats.
- Deal 750 final blows with Void damage.
Failsafe Mask
The last mask you can get during this Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2 is the Failsafe Mask, and all you’ll need to do is upgrade your defenses during the Haunted Altars of Sorrow mode, as well as use Gourd Grenades.
- Upgrade 15 defenses.
- Defeat 50 combatants with Gourd Grenades.
