Where To Find Rhyhorn in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
The only place you can find Rhyhorn in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the Savanna Biome in the Blueberry Academy Terrarium. This Pokemon is found throughout this biome and often roams in small packs. However, you can also meet lonely individuals and easily catch one. In addition, you can occasionally encounter Rhydon, but this is much less common.
It is essential to clarify that the Rhyhorn family is an exclusive part of The Indigo Disk, which, in turn, is part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Therefore, you must purchase this expansion to catch these Pokemon.
How To Evolve Rhyhorn into Rhydon and Rhyperior in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Once you have at least one Rhyhorn, you will probably want to get its subsequent evolutions as soon as possible. As we said earlier, you can find Rhydon in the wild, but you can also get it through evolution once Rhyhorn reaches level 42. Use this Pokemon in battles more often, and you’ll quickly achieve the desired results.
As for Rhyperior, getting it is a little more difficult than previous pocket monsters in this family. Your Rhydon level does not matter to evolve into Rhyperior, but you will have to do the following:
- Get the Protector item and give it to Rhydon.
- While your Pokemon is holding this item, trade it with another trainer.
- During the exchange, Rhydon evolves into Rhyperior.
- Trade Pokemon again to get your Rhyperior.
- It’s best to look for players who want to get this Pokemon. Then, you’ll hopefully receive the desired pocket monster instead of the wrong one.
How To Get Protector in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Since Protector is a new item in the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet world, some players may not know how to get it, but it is easy. Firstly, you can find it as a random item in Savanna Biome. But you can also buy it if you don’t want to rely on luck.
The Protector item is available for purchase in the School Store in the Blueberry Academy for 250 BP. You can get to this place right after Carmine tells you about Blueberry Academy and shows you your room. As for the currency, BP is Blueberry Points, which you can earn as you explore new areas of the game.
