As a weary traveler, it’s the perfect opportunity. To get your hands on some new mounts and pets, however, you’ll need the Coveted Baubles which the Niffen crave. That’s right: there’s yet another currency to collect, because…Blizzard. No rest for a weary warrior, it seems. Here’s how to get Coveted Baubles in World of Warcraft.

Unlike Shadowflame Essence, you can’t just kill your way to a pile of Coveted Baubles. To get Coveted Baubles in World of Warcraft you must venture into Zaralek Cavern and unlock the Loamm Niffen reputation. You can do that in no time simply by completing the Cavern’s introductory quests and earning Unearthed Fragrant Coins. Here’s what you need to know:

  • You can trade Unearthed Fragrant Coins to the Spinsoa vendor in Loamm (coordinates 56, 55)
  • Each Unearthed Fragrant Coin is worth one Coveted Bauble
  • Events spawn around the zone labeled via horns on the map. These reward one or two Unearthed Fragrant Coins upon completion
  • The Researchers Under Fire event happens every hour on the half hour in the middle of Zaralek Cavern. It rewards a whopping 60 Unearthed Fragrant Coins per week if you complete the entire event

Saccratos is a vendor right next to Spinsoa that will trade rewards for Coveted Baubles. He offers the Diamondshell snail pet for 50 Coveted Baubles. The Subterranean Magmammoth mount costs 100 of the currency, and the Igneous Shalewing mount will set you back 400.

There are also other unique rewards to obtain via different currencies, such as Barter Bricks. Examples include the Boulder Hauler mount, Winding Slitherdrake customizations, and even a Niffen cowboy hat. The Loamm Niffen faction offer even more activities to find in Zaralek Cavern, so be sure to explore the zone thoroughly.
