A Carbo Cookie is one of the rarest items in Super Mario RPG and Mole Girl wants them because she’s hungry. You can farm Frog and classic coins by giving this cookie to Mole Girl. Before this, however, you should go to Moleville and head to the tool shop. Let’s explain how to get and use the Carbo Cookie in Super Mario RPG.

Carbo Cookies are quite tricky to get as there are no clear in-game instructions for how to acquire them. You need to complete various stages by talking to a mole who lives in the tool shop in Moleville.

Here’s how to get the Carbo Cookie in Super Mario RPG:

  1. Find the Mole Girl

First, go to the Mole Girl behind the Moleville Shop. However, the Mole Girl only gives you a Carbo Cookie in exchange for a Shiny Stone.

  2. Get a Shiny Stone

To get a Shiny Stone, you need to talk to the Mole Man at the top of the shop and get Fireworks. This mole man will give you Fireworks for 500 coins.

  3. Exchange the Fireworks

You can exchange the Fireworks you purchased for a Shiny Stone by talking to the little Mole Girl in Moleville. You can find her near the boxes next to the shop.

Note: Shiny Stone is a very important item to unlock the Secret Boss. Therefore, we recommend that you exchange a Shiny Stone after defeating the Secret Boss.

  4. Get your cookies

Finally, you can get a Carbo Cookie by taking the Shiny Stone to the other Mole Girl in the shop at the bottom of Moleville. She will give you one cookie.

After you have successfully traded a Carbo Cookie with the Mole Girl, there is only one thing left for you to do. You need to talk to the Mole Girl sitting in the bucket next to the shop. After giving her two Carbo Cookies, you’ll encounter two possible outcomes:

  • In the first possibility, the Mole Girl comes out of the bucket and starts walking. Then, you can enter the bucket and participate in a mini-game in Midas River. You can collect Frog Coins and classic coins in this mini-game.
  • In the second possibility, the Mole Girl gives you only 1 Frog Coin. So, you get one Frog Coin for two Carbo Cookies.

If you want to go to Midas River, you may need to give more Carbo Cookies to the Mole Girl a few more times. In short: it all depends on luck.
