This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

With Update 2 arriving recently, a bunch of new pets, eggs, and areas have been introduced into the pet-collecting sim. On top of this, you’ll now be able to get your mitts on a new snowball-firing gadget. But how do you get and use the Snowball Launcher in Pet Simulator 99? Well, you’ve come to the right place, as down below we’ll clue you in. Let’s get into it!

How to Obtain the Snowball Launcher

Essentially, to acquire the snowball-throwing weapon in Pet Simulator 99, you’re going to need to progress to Area 63, which is the Frost Mountains biome. This is currently the final biome in the game, and it takes a long time to get there.

On top of that, you’ll also need to unlock each area with the corresponding currency. In short, you’ll need lots of Coins, Gold Bars, Platinum Coins, Platinum Bars, Emerald Coins, and Emerald Bars to unlock the route to Area 63.

Once you arrive, however, the Snow Merchant is where you want to go next. Unfortunately, the Snowball Launcher isn’t free of charge, as it will cost you an additional 30,000 Diamonds to purchase it from the vendor. Once you’ve purchased, it, though, the weapon is yours to keep for good.

How to Use the Snowball Launcher

First of all, equip the Snowball Launcher along with some Snowballs. If you’re unsure where to obtain Snowballs, you can purchase 75 Snowballs from the Snow Merchant for 750 Diamonds. Once equipped, use the tap button to fire it.

What’s strange about the Snowball Launcher is that it doesn’t seem to increase your tap power in all areas, meaning that you don’t get any more currency when you tap on Coins or Diamonds.

However, there is an area which does seemingly increase your tap power while using the Snowball Launcher. This specific location is right next to the Snow Merchant (shown in the image above).

Is the Snowball Launcher Worth It?

From our experience, we’d say that the Snowball Launcher isn’t worth it — at least, not at the moment. Not only do the Snowballs cost quite a lot of money, but they don’t seem to do much in a meaningful way. Whether the developer BIG Games nerfs the power of the Snowball Launcher in the future remains to be seen, though, so this could change.

So, there you have it, folks. That’s everything you need to know about how to get and use the Snowball Launcher in Pet Simulator 99 on Roblox. For more tips, tricks, and guides, keep it locked at The Nerd Stash.
