With the recent release of the most recent God of War game, we now have loads of resources to get, including Asgardian Ingots in God of War: Ragnarok. Unlike some of the other resources we’ve talked about, like Shattered Rune or Hacksilver, Asgardian Ingots are all about creation. As there are so many types of armor you can wear in God of War: Ragnarok, keeping some Asgardian Ingots on hand is not a bad idea. However, sometimes it’s a bit hard to find resources if you’re not quite sure where to look. Keep reading to learn how to get Asgardian Ingots in God of War: Ragnarok.

There’s only one place you can count on to give you Asgardian Ingots, and that’s in chests and coffins. If you’re wondering how to find them, just look for the glowing red chests scattered throughout the 9 realms. Here are some tips:

  • There are loads of chest scattered throughout the realms, so there’s a good chance that you won’t have too many issues finding yourself some Asgardian Ingots
  • Be sure to open every chest you find, as you could easily pass one up that holds the resource you’re searching for otherwise
  • You can search for puzzles, as some of them reward Asgardian Ingots for completion
  • Search high and low, as you can even find Asgardian Ingots hiding behind wood planks and in other sneaky hiding spots

What Are Asgardian Ingots in God of War: Ragnarok (And How Are They Used?)

According to God of War: Ragnarok, the Asgardian Ingot is “The highest quality steel in the nine realms.” The game also states that they “Can be used to forge the finest armor.”

Asgardian Ingots are resources that can be collected in order to improve the armor that you wear. However, in the beginning, stages of your gameplay, it won’t be very important, as you won’t have crazy enemies to fight just yet. Though, it’s a good idea to start collecting them right away so that you have a decent amount of them saved up for later stages in the game when you need them.

However, Asgardian Ingots cannot be used to upgrade your Leviathan Axe, so that’s one less item you’ll need to save up for.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
