If you’re a Necromancer and use a lot of Bone Skills, Aspect of Torment might be the one for you. Using Aspect of Torment, you can significantly increase your Essence Regeneration, and today we’ll show you how to get this aspect in Diablo 4.
Where To Find Aspect of Torment in Diablo 4
The Aspect of Torment is the legendary Resource-type aspect of the Necromancer class. And you can only put it on Rings. Due to the effect of Aspect of Torment, dealing Critical Strikes with Bone Skills can increase your Essence Regeneration by 20-30% for 4 seconds. This effect will allow Necromancer to get more magical energy from his enemies, especially when fighting large groups of opponents. Although this effect is relatively weak, it has found its place in builds such as Bone Spear, Blood Burst, and Detonator Necromancer Builds.
And luckily, there are two ways to get Aspect of Torment in Diablo 4:
- First, you can unlock this aspect in your Codex of Power by completing the Black Asylum dungeon.
- Alternatively, you can extract this aspect from legendary items by visiting Occultist.
If you choose the first option, you should travel northeast of Kyovashad to the small area of Frigid Expanse in the Fractured Peaks region. Go to the center of the location, as shown in the image above, and you will see the entrance to the Black Asylum dungeon. By completing this challenge, you will automatically unlock the Aspect of Torment in your Codex of Power and be able to use it unlimited.
At the same time, the second method depends on your luck but will reward you with better buffs. You only need to find the legendary ring with Aspect of Torment inside and visit the NPC Occultist. And for a small fee, this NPC will extract and imprint the aspect onto your ring.
It is worth noting that this method has several drawbacks. First, the aspects obtained in this way are disposable. So you’ll have to look for new legendary rings to imprint Aspect of Torment on later items. In addition, items that contained the aspect originally will be destroyed during the extraction process.
