Brightbloom Seeds are your best friend for dark areas inย The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. One of the foundationalย tipsย for exploring these areas is launching a Brightbloom Seed and providing light to an area. It’s perfect for exploring the Depths or dark caves where light is a rare commodity. Without light, you might find yourself in dangerous situations that require lots ofย save fileย reloading. If you forgot how to get Brightbloom Seeds, it’s always good to stay around caves with good lighting or go back to Great Sky Island. There’s a great tutorial that helps you remember how to find them.

Brightbloom Seeds can be found in caves, often in groups of three. These caves should have decent lighting, which helps you spot the seed clusters. Alternatively, you can find these seeds just before going into a dark area, though this isn’t always the case with dark caves. It’s not true for the Depths, where there are other sources of light but rarely any plant life. If you want to pick them up, it’s best to grab them while exploring caves that you will encounter along your quest.

You can simply throw Brightbloom Seeds manually, or you can shoot them from your bow. They must be thrown into the air somehow, but a bow can make more precise shots. If you see a cluster of seeds, it’s likely that there are more clusters around the area. You may have to search large areas if you want to find them all.

If you can, always bring several seeds as you explore dark areas, bringing more the longer you are down there. Thanks to the seed clusters, this shouldn’t be an issue but never underestimate the danger in dark areas. If you ever run out, you can use alternative sources of light, like making yourself glow withย Sunshrooms.

Fortunately, once you know how to get Brightbloom Seeds in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you easily find them in caves. With potential treasure hiding inside every cave, you are likely to pick up more than a few seeds before you even leave Lookout Landing. It never helps to know where you can get more or how you obtain it since it is vital for exploration.
