Coal is one of the crucial materials at the end game of Palworld. It is essential if you plan to upgrade your game tools. Coal is used to craft high-end tools and weapons. Some are Refined Metal Pickaxe, Refined Metal Axe, Ultra Spheres, and Assault Rifle. However, you will need to explore the area a bit deeper before you get your hands on Coal in Palworld.
Where to Find Coal in Palworld
The first Coal deposit we found in Palworld was near the Investigator’s Fork. Also, there are more in Hypocrite Hill and Fisherman’s Point. Generally, Coal can be found in desert biomes. So, it would be best to prepare before entering this area.
How To Acquire Coal
First, wear heat-resistant clothes to avoid heat if you plan to get Coal in Palworld. At the early stage of the game, you can craft Tropical Outfit, but it is best to have the Heat Resistant Pelt Armor, which can be created at High-Quality Workbench for 4x Flame Organs and 15x Leather.
Also, Coal is a Tier 3 node in Palworld, and all primitive tools at the early stage of the game will not be helpful to mine Coal. So, make sure you have the Metal Pickaxe with you before searching for Coal. You can craft a metal pickaxe at level 11 from a High-Quality Workbench using 15x stone, 20x wood, and 5x Ingot.
Since level 1 or 2 miners can not be used to farm Coal in Palworld, you need to capture better mining pals if you are planning to automate the mining process. The best pals to mine Coal are Digtoice, Blazamut, and Reptyro. Digtoice is the best since you can capture it early stage of the game. You can find them easily in the desert area northeast of the Sealed Realm of The Winged Tyrant. However, Blazamut and Reptyro are much harder to find since Blazamut appears in the Wild Life Sanctuary at the top of the map, and Reptyro lives near the volcano biome and is a bit harder to find.
