After you make your way through a Provisioner Realm and unlock the card recipe for a Herbarium Realm, you’ll need to start unlocking some new recourses and materials. Unlike basic cards up until this point, the Herbarium Card requires you to have a special type of paper called Coated Paper in Nightingale. Crafting Coated Paper requires quite a few more steps than your average paper, which only requires a bit of wood and a trip to the Saw Table. This time, we’ll need some more ingredients, a Refined Table Saw, and just a bit more patience.
How To Farm Coated Paper in Nightingale
To craft Coated Paper, you’ll need access to a few refined crafting stations, including the Refined Saw Table, Refined Mortar Station, and the Refined Spinning Wheel.

- 12x Paper
- 1x Coating
However, to get each of the ingredients, you’ll need:
- Coating
- 1x Fabric
- Crafted at Refined Mortar Station
- Fabric
- 2x Refined Fibre
- Crafted at Refined Spinning Wheel
- Refined Fibre
- 6x Fibre (Can be any type, whether its plant or animal)
- Crafted at Refined Spinning Wheel
- Paper
- 1x Wood Bundle
- Crafted at Refined Saw Table
If you’re interested in farming Coated Paper in Nightingale, you’ll need to go out and grab quite a bit of a few ingredients. First, you’ll need Wood Bundles to craft the paper that gets coated, then Animal or Plant Fibre to craft the Refined Fibre that gets converted into Fabric, and finally Coating. That said, if you can get enough of these two materials, you’ll be able to craft tons of Coated Paper. However, before you get started, as always, it would be wise to ensure that you have some of the most advanced crafting stations available to you, otherwise you’ll have to go on a hunt for other resources just to make sure you have the capabilities of crafting it.
