You never know what you’ll find when you go dungeon diving in Dungeonborne, but you should keep your eyes peeled for a Divine Crown Fragment. They’re an incredibly rare find and you’ll be lucky to come across even one of them, but they’re undoubtedly worth collecting. Knowing how to get a Divine Crown Fragment in Dungeonborne will put you on the path of crafting one of the best Heirloom items in the game for every class.

Why both with the Divine Crown Fragment at all? Well, it’s the one and only item you need to unlock the Divine Crown in Dungeonborne. The blacksmith at camp will gladly craft one for you, but first you need to give him a Divine Crown Fragment. Just one and the recipe is unlocked for good, though you’ll still need Star Fragments and Mithril Tokens to craft one.

It’s a pretty darn good base Heirloom helmet too, especially if you’re trying to grind experience. In addition to extra damage and max life, the Divine Crown grants 150% increase to experience gain. That is huge compared to other Heirloom items, which only give between 50% to 100%.

The Divine Crown is also used in conjunction with the Moon Pendant to unlock the Floral Sarcophagus in Sinner’s End. In return, you’ll gain the Divine Sword Fragment, which you’ll use to unlock the recipe for the Divine Sword Heirloom weapon.

To get a Divine Crown Fragment in Dungeonborne, you should first queue for Sinner’s End. It’s the game mode to the right of Clouseau Castle. If you’ve never played Sinner’s End before, it’s just like Clouseau Castle, except the dungeon will slowly shrink due to corrosive magic.

There are several known locations the Divine Crown Fragment spawns, but there’s only one for the entire map. I’ve marked their locations in the screenshot, though the one at the top is where most players have good luck (myself included).

Now, when you reach either area, there’s going to be a massive hand statue. You have to pray to the altar first and doing so will leave you vulnerable because you’re interacting with it like you would a door or chest. If successful, the Divine Crown Fragment will appear and you can take it.

Do be on alert, though. Other players will, without a doubt, be looking for it, too. The Divine Crown Fragment is a highly coveted item in Dungeonborne and if you’re lucky enough to get it before someone else, escape the dungeon immediately.
