How To Get Dragonbone Artifacts in Monster Hunter World

Just because it’s an artifact doesn’t mean it’s that hard to find.

Dragonbone artifacts are a little difficult to come by in Monster Hunter World. You need to do a bit of digging around before you’ll come across one since it is a master rank resource. Fortunately, you won’t need to worry anymore once you know where they are. Let’s dive into how and where to get dragonbone artifacts in MHW.

The first thing you’ll want to do to find dragonbone artifacts in MHW is head to the Coral Highlands, Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste, Elder’s Recess, Hoarfrost Reach, or Guilding Lands. In either of these locations, you’ll want to dig through different bone piles. To break it down, follow these instructions:

  • Go to Coral Highlands, Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste, Elder’s Recess, Hoarfrost Reach, or Guilding Lands.
  • Dig through every bone pile you see.

Tips To Find Dragonbone Artifacts Quickly

In our experience, the best place to farm for dragonbone artifacts is the ninth zone within the Coral Highlands. Here, there are four bone piles that you can dig through. There are also a variety of quests that can be completed to earn dragonbone artifacts as rewards. We also recommend sending Palicoes to the Elder’s Recess on a Tailrider Safari to get these artifacts. It will take a little longer this way, but after completing five regular quests, you’ll be able to reap all of the rewards. It also helps that Elder’s Recess specifically has the highest chance to find dragonbone artifacts in comparison to other locations.
