Do you want to know how to get Electric Darners in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? Electric Darners have successfully transitioned from the Zelda Breath of the Wild to the newest mainline title in this epic fantasy adventure imbued with magic and technology. The same thing is with the Warm Darners. Electric Darners provide a buff that is utterly important for our hero, Link, and undoubtedly, players will want to catch a few of these electric beasts. This guide will show you how to get Electric Darners in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

You can get Electric Darners in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom at the following locations:

  • West Necluda
  • Thunderhead Isles

However, these critters won’t be just flying around these areas. Unfortunately, they only come out when it is raining. So, make sure to traverse these regions for Electric Darners in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom at the specific weather. Moreover, you will need to be careful when approaching these critters, as they tend to fly away if you get to them too fast. Creep in, and when close enough, press A to get the Electric Darners.

These rare dragonflies have the unique ability to deflect electricity away from their bodies, making them immune to electricity from thunderstorms. Once you get Electric Darners in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you can use them to make Electro Elixir, which provides resistance to electricity.

Use the cooking pot or the Zonai portable pot to make the elixir. In addition to an Electric Darner, you will need a monster part. Luckily, you can use any monster part for this elixir, as it won’t affect the time. Instead, place as many Electric Darners as possible to make the elixir last longer.

One Electric Darner will grant Link two minutes and 30 seconds of electricity resistance. Adding more Electric Darners into the mix can make it last longer.

You can also use Electric Darners when making food. The dish with an Electric Darner will provide low/mid/high levels of electricity resistance. This depends on the quality of the food.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
