Want to know how to unlock and equip the Gas Mask accessory in Resident Evil 4 Remake? Although Resident Evil 4 is attractive by its exciting story and gameplay, the remake has a lot of equally interesting post-story content. And while some items are purely cosmetic, others can help you get real buffs. Earlier, we talked about how to unlock Cat Ears to get infinite ammo or Ashley’s Knight Armor and make her invulnerable. But if you want to aim better in Resident Evil 4 Remake, the Gas Mask accessory will come in handy, and today we’ll show you how to unlock and equip this item.

To unlock the Gas Mask in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you must complete the Main Game Story in Professional mode. It doesn’t matter what rank you get at the end of the game, so this is good news if you’re not in a hurry. Of course, the enemies in this mode are much more dangerous than in the Standard one, but you will not have time limits, and by completing the story, you can be sure that you will get the Gas Mask Accessory.

Once you complete the game in Professional mode, you will automatically unlock the Gas Mask Accessory. As we said earlier, while you have Gas Mask equipped, you will be able to aim better. And the good news is that you can use this item in any difficulty mode.

Like any other post-story item, unlocking Gas Mask isn’t enough, as you still need to buy and equip the item. To do this, go to the Extra Contents Shop tab and purchase the Gas Mask Accessory for 2000 CP (Challenge Points). And if you want to equip Gas Mask before a new playthrough, go to the Extras tab and select it.

If you do not have enough Challenge Points, you can earn more by completing various Challenges from the Menu. Here you can find quests for every taste, starting with defeating certain bosses, killing a definite amount of enemies, or using a specific weapon in combat. There are a lot of such tasks, so by completing them all, you can accumulate Challenge Points to buy all the post-story items.
