In Hogwarts Legacy, you can fully embrace your inner Gryffindor, but you have to get sorted into the House first. In-universe, the Sorting Ceremony is based on who you are as a person, choosing your House based on your best qualities and characteristics. However, in the game, it doesn’t quite work that way. Named after Godric Gryffindor, the House of the lion is perhaps among the most popular Houses. It’s the House of The Boy Who Lived, so it’s no surprise many fans are eager to find themselves among his rank.

Thankfully, Hogwarts Legacy does not make it too difficult to get sorted into the House of your dreams. As an open-world RPG, the game fully embraces customization and choice.

So, how do you get into Gryffindor in Hogwarts Legacy? Well, you can address it in two different ways:

• In-game Sorting Ceremony
• Wizarding World Sorting Ceremony

Get Gryffindor in Sorting Ceremony in Hogwarts Legacy

Once you set up your character in the game and get to Hogwarts, you’ll soon find yourself on that stool sitting under the Sorting Hat. There are a handful of questions it will ask you, and you can choose the more obvious Gryffindor-like answers. For instance, it may say that it detects something in you, and you can select “Daring” among the answers presented.

From here, it can lead the Sorting Hat to suggest that you are a Gryffindor and you will get the pop-up screen to confirm it. Of course, if you don’t get the recommendation of Gryffindor, you can select “Choose a Different House” instead and pick it.

To get Gryffindor in Hogwarts Legacy, it is as simple as choosing it.

Get Gryffindor on Wizarding World Website

If you want to get a jump on your House prior to playing the game, you can always visit the Wizarding World website and take the official Sorting Hat quiz. Before you do so, you will have to either login or create an account. Hogwarts Legacy can sync with your WB Games account, so if you are sorted into Gryffindor here, it will take that into account and sort you into the House in the game.

This is a bit riskier than the in-game option because it’s all about choosing the right answers. The questions are randomized too, so there is no real guide to getting into the House.

Your best bet is to select the most Gryffindor-aligned choices as possible. Gryffindor is all about courage, bravery, and nerve. So, take heroic-like answers each time.
