This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Heavy-Duty Boots is a Battle Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that protects its pocket monster holder from the effects of trap-like hazards, including Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web. Of course, the situations in which Trainers encounter these hazards are few and far between, but it is always better to be ready for whatever combat might bring during one’s journey. More specifically, Heavy-Duty Boots can be especially practical for getting a Pokémon out of a bad situation during battles with other Trainers or Gym Leaders. Unlocking Heavy-Duty Boots in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Levincia Delibird Presents Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To get the Heavy-Duty Boots Battle Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must make a visit to the city of Levincia, located on the eastern side of Paldea. Here, players will find a Delibird Presents shop that sells the boots for ₽20,000. However, this Battle Item will not be available for sale until Trainers have acquired four Gym Badges.

It should be noted that the order in which the protagonist defeats the Gym Leaders does not matter regarding the unlock requirement for Heavy-Duty Boots. In other words, Trainers can defeat the leaders in any order they please; as long as four Gym Badges have been obtained, the boots will automatically become available for sale at the Levincia Delibird Presents. Nevertheless, the next challenge is collecting the ₽20,000 required for the purchase. Such funds might be pocket change for those who have reached the postgame with Level 6 Tera Raids, but those taking their time with the story might feel ₽20,000 is overwhelming.

Eurogamer suggests that Trainers acquire the Amulet Coin, a Held Item that doubles the prize money received from defeating an NPC Trainer. To get this item, players must defeat five Trainers found within the West Province (Area Three) of Paldea. Once this feat has been accomplished, Trainers can speak with the League rep at the Pokémon Center in Medali to receive their Amulet Coin. With this item, players should be able to farm enough money to purchase the ₽20,000 Heavy-Duty Boots in Levincia of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
