Hydroid is one of the many Warframes that you can get in the eponymously named Warframe. He summons his power from the ocean depths and is incredibly water-themed. He wears a light blue, beige, and brown armor set that almost mimics the look of Zoras from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Getting him is fairly easy; you know what you need to do, so we wrote out how to get Hydroid in Warframe down below, as well as all of his stats and abilities.

You can purchase Hydroid’s primary blueprint from the Market. The other blueprints can be obtained after defeating Councilor Vay Hek on Oro, Earth. In order to actually fight Vay Hek, you must be at Mastery Rank 5 or higher. The following are the chances of getting each blueprint:

If you’re looking to get Hydroid Prime, it’s not possible right now. In fact, it has been vaulted alongside Ballistica Prime and Nami Skyla Prime since mid-2019. There was a point where he was available during Prime Resurgence, but that has since passed. Any components or frames that were built have to remain as they are. YOu can still earn his parts via player trading, and it’s worth it as the Hydroid rework has made him exceptionally powerful.

    • One Neuroptics component.
    • One Chassis component.
    • One Systems component.

    • Select a region and unleash a devastating deluge of liquid rage, intensifying the ferocity of the assault by charging this formidable attack.
  • Tidal Surge
    • Charge through enemies in a relentless torrent of water.
  • Undertow
    • Transform into a watery snare to submerge unsuspecting enemies.
  • Tentacle Swarm
    • Trigger the ability to summon aqueous tentacles from surrounding surfaces, causing chaos. Hold the ability to enhance both the quantity of tentacles and the area they manifest in. Activate this power while submerged in Undertow to make the tentacles rise from the pool.
