There are all manner of different resources and ingredients scattered about Hyrule. Some of these are more important than others, and in some cases, you’ll absolutely want to keep a healthy stock of them. That includes one herb in particular. Here’s how to get Hyrule Herbs in Tears of the Kingdom.

There are several locations where you can efficiently farm Hyrule Herbs. Here are some notable spots in Tears of the Kingdom:

  • Torn Wetlands: This area yields approximately 16 Hyrule Herbs and is also home to Hearty Radishes and Big Hearty Truffles. Upon exploring, you can also find more valuable resources such as Armoranth and Guardians.
  • Thunder Plateau and Seres Scablands: In the Thunder Plateau vicinity, you can find around nine herbs, while the Series Scablands house 16 more. These areas also offer abundant materials, including Octorok, Butterflies, Darners, Hearty Radishes, and Swift Violets.
  • Satori Mountain: Satori Mountain is a treasure trove of various resources, including Hyrule Herbs. One particular section of the mountain hosts a vast array of plants. Here, you can discover not only herbs but also valuable items like Diamonds, Endura Carrots, Lizards, Beetles, and much more.

Farming Hyrule Herbs specifically may not be necessary, as you can collect them easily during your explorations. It is advisable to focus your efforts on obtaining more challenging and rare items. By doing so, you can accumulate a substantial quantity of Hyrule Herbs without dedicated farming. For example, looking for Sundelions flowers in the Hyrule region is a great idea. You can use them to cook meals which allows Link to recover Hearts that are lost during intense fights. This can be useful during tough boss fights, where your health depletes aggressively.

In conclusion, prioritize gathering Hyrule Herbs as you encounter them naturally throughout your journey. This approach will enable you to amass a generous supply effortlessly. Reserve your farming efforts to obtain more difficult-to-find resources because they will become a key element later in Nintendo’s title.

What Hyrule Herbs Do & What Recipes You Can Make

Hyrule Herbs are an important resource in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom which has a couple of uses in the game. Players can use them as a vital ingredient in food. Consuming a raw Hyrule Herb restores one Heart, while cooking it adds two Hearts and extends the duration of the dish by 30 seconds. The herb is also useful for creating green dye for altering the color of Link’s clothing. These are the only two main uses of the green herb.
