Getting into the Lost Woods, or the Great Hyrule Forest will help you clear the fog, and more importantly, help you earn the Master Sword. Links legendary blade is the only weapon in the game that can’t break, so earning it can be a huge help for the rest of the game. Follow these steps to get into the Lost Woods.

1: Travel to the Minshi Woods Chasm pictured on the map above. Theyโ€™re just south of the Great Hyrule Forest. The exact coordinates are 1038, 1662, and 0159.

2: Jump into the Chasm. When you land, travel Northwest until you hit the Eknupup Lightroot. The objective here is to travel underneath the Great Hyrule Forest. Swap to the map and check the surface to ensure youโ€™re still running underneath the forest region to stay on track.

3: After activating this Lightroot, face southwest and run around the massive tree roots until you reach the Rikonasum Lightroot. Reference the map below to see the precise location. The coordinates are 0406, 2134, and -0592.

4: Head to the temple steps located right next to the Lightroot. Use Ascend to travel through the ceiling. If done correctly, you will have entered the Lost Woods, or the Korok Forest as this specific region is called. You will find a bunch of Koroks in suspended animation. Speak to the Great Deku Tree, which will mention that it feels ill. This will trigger the quest to restore the Master Sword, which we have a guide for linked below.

Now that you know how to get into the Lost Woods in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, help the Great Deku Tree and he will help Link locate the Master Sword.
