How to Get Jade in Warframe Fast (Jade Farming Guide)

57th time’s the charm

Warframe has finally released a new quest called Jade Shadows and with it, a new Warframe. The aptly named Jade is the 57th Warframe and farming her or obtaining her, as usual, is a long process especially if you don’t want to spend Platinum in-game. To simplify this process, I’ve prepared a guide on how to get Jade in Warframe.

Follow this step-by-step process and requirements to obtain Jade in Warframe.

  1. Ensure that you’ve completed the New War quest. It has its own prerequisites for completion.
  2. Once you’ve completed the New War quest, check the quest interface in your ship and select ‘Jade Shadows.’ It should be available now.
  3. If you have other activities to attend to, it’s best to wrap them up as you can’t halt your progress in the Jade Shadows quest without restarting from the beginning.
  4. Select ‘Begin’ if you’re ready. The quest should last 30 minutes or so. Finish it.
  5. Finishing the quest will reward you with the main Jade Blueprint. You will still need to farm other parts’ blueprints through the new game mode and this is where most of the grind takes place (the hard part).

Again, you will need to farm for other parts, your journey isn’t done yet.

Where to Farm the Other Jade Blueprints

Once you’ve finished the Jade Shadows quest, go to Uranus. There, you can farm the other Jade component blueprints (Systems, Neuroptics, and Chassis) which you’ll need to finally craft Jade, the new Warframe.

Follow the further instructions below to obtain Jade component blueprints.

  1. In Uranus, select the ‘Ascension‘ Node.
  2. Complete the mission. At the end of each Ascension mission, there’s around a five percent chance you’ll be rewarded with a Jade component blueprint.
  3. You usually can’t get them all in three runs (unless you’re lucky) so keep running Ascension missions in Uranus to get Jade component blueprints.

Alternatively, you can visit Ordis in Larunda Relay, Mercury to purchase Jade component blueprints using the Vestigial Motes you obtained from the Ascension missions. Each Jade component blueprint costs around 150 Vestigial Motes. This is the pity system for Jade farming.

Once you have all the blueprints and the components needed for them, you can finally craft them in your Foundry. Note that each Jade component blueprint will take 12 hours to craft while the main Jade Blueprint will take 72 hours or three days to craft.

Of course, if you want to skip all the grind and the waiting time, you can always purchase a fully-built Jade in the in-game store/market for 325 Platinum. This purchase includes an Orokin Reactor and a Warframe slot.

Warframe is available on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and iOS.
