So, it is essential to know how to obtain better armor in Dawn of Defiance, and one of the easiest ways to get it in the beginning is by using leather. So prepare your bow and several arrows; you will need them to hunt.
How to Unlock Butcher’s Block and Hunter’s Bench in Dawn of Defiance
In your adventure, the first thing you must do to advance is craft basic tools and weapons. We will focus on the Primitive Hammer, which allows you to build a base and workstations. To create the Hammer, you will need:
- x3 Softwood
- x5 Stone
- x3 Flax
- x2 Resin
As you settle down in your new shelter, getting a good hunt is important. Try to catch several wolves, deers, and wild boars; the bigger they are, the more loot you can get. Try to hunt a lot of prey to unlock the Butcher’s Block to refine the animals into meat, bones, and pelt. To create the Butcher’s Block, you need:

You must also unlock the Hunter’s Bench, which you can use to convert the animal into more weapons and create the leather armor in Dawn of Defiance. To build this workbench, you must collect:
