You’ll need it to craft the Lunar Device, Eclipse, and Eclipse Device, the three best items in the game. But getting even one Lunar Aura is not easy, as it requires a lot of luck, patience, and knowing when to roll.
Sol’s RNG: How Can You Get the Lunar Aura? Explained
Lunar Exclusive Aura has a 1 in 5,000 chance to appear if you do a roll during Nighttime. To ensure you’re rolling at Nighttime, check the day indicator on the bottom-left corner of your screen.
Thanks to Sol’s RNG Breakthrough system, Lunar Aura can also appear during Daytime. Breakthrough means that some Auras can be rolled in a time or biome that’s out of their usual elements, albeit at a much higher rate. For Lunar itself, the Breakthrough roll rate becomes 1 in 50,000 at Daytime. When you roll a Breakthrough with over 1,000 roll rates, a notification will be shown in the chat box for all players to see.
With that in mind, getting the Lunar Aura in Sol’s RNG really depends on your luck. Still, there is a way to boost your roll chances with three different methods:
- Roll 10 times: Gives a 2x Luck bonus for the next Aura roll.
- Find and use a Lucky Potion: Increases Luck by 100% for 60 seconds.
- Make and equip the Luck Glove item at Jake’s Workshop: Increases Luck by 25%.
