As the name of the Lynel Mace Horns suggests, you can get this material by defeating the mini-bosses named Lynel. You can encounter one of these enemies shortly after starting your adventure in the western part of Central Hyrule on the side of Hyrule Ridge. Also, later in the story, you will encounter Blue-Maned Lynel and White-Maned Lynel, but these enemies do not drop Lynel Mace Horns.

By defeating standard Lynel, you will receive the following rewards:

  • Lynel Mace Horn x1
  • Lynel Saber Horn x1
  • Lynel Hoof x1
  • Arrow x10

Where To Find Lynel in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

As we said, the first place where you will meet Lynel is the western part of Central Hyrule on the border with the Hyrule Ridge area. Cross the river, and you will meet Lynel on West Hyrule Plains between Ludfo’s Bog and Regencia River.
A little later, you can find Lynel in the following locations:

  • Northeast corner of the Gerudo Highlands northeast of Lake Illumeni.
  • East of Rito Village and Tama Pond.
  • In the Deep Akkala area in the forest north of the North Akkala Valley.

It’s also worth noting that Lynel isn’t a one-time enemy. That is, he will respawn sometime after death, and you can farm Lynel Mace Horns in one location of your choice.

The special effect of Lynel Mace Horn is +40 seconds of potion duration. By adding more Lynel Mace Horn, you increase the time.
